We are planning this summer to start renovation of one traditional mountain rural household breeding local autochthonous breeds. I think that your experience could be very useful for us. The hosuehold which we want to use for establishment of a rural development center is situated in the Serbian part of the Stara Planina Mountain.
So, look at the profile and we can discuss in next few days more in details.

Dear Bruno and Ulrich,
in next few days I will send you more details about the activities we plan to do.
Our idea is to do this work together with the local mountain climbing association.
One part of the activities will be with the future Rural Development Centre breeding local endangered breeds and having purpose as a Nature Park unofficial visitor centre. Here, we hope that you can help us with your experience. I will send you next week some pictures of the building.
We also have one "Interactive farm" with a training center and local breeds (including horses which we use for riding tours).
The other part of the work could be marking of the trails we have (riding trails, 4WD trails, walking and biking trails), together with our friend form the Mountain climbing association.
Our area is very nice. The town (Dimitrovgrad) is situated near the Bulgarian border, 55 km from Sofia. We have two protected areas inside the municipality territory: one Nature Park "Stara Planina Mt"(IUCN V category) and one Special Nature Reserve "Jerma river". The town has 7.000 inhabitants.
My expectations are that you can help us with transferring of some good practices from the areas you have visited since now, and it will be very useful if you can advice us how to organize next year a camp with involvement of European students and young researches in field of nature conservation and rural development.
Regarding the conditions we have, we will provide you more detailed information till the end of next week, after consultation with my colleagues.
